A New Chapter in Hospitality Sustainability
Celebrating One Year of Partnership with a New Sustainability Solution for Hotels
One year ago, the Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) and the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) deepened their commitment to sustainability by partnering with Green Key Global. This week, we’re proud to mark that milestone with the launch of Green Key Ready—a new solution designed to help smaller hotels take their first step toward full Green Key certification.
With Green Key Ready, properties will:
- Gain access to tools and templates to help implement sustainability practices;
- Receive a digital recognition logo to showcase your commitment; and,
- Be on the fast track to full Green Key Eco-Rating Certification within 12 months!
Sustainability is no longer a luxury—it’s a business necessity.
Over the past year, Green Key Global has helped hotels across Canada integrate sustainability into their operations in practical, measurable ways. With the launch of Green Key Ready, HAC is expanding access to a structured, cost-effective solution designed for properties at the beginning of their sustainability journey. This initiative reflects our continued commitment to delivering real value through strategic partnerships—empowering hotels to take action, meet rising guest expectations, and strengthen their competitive edge in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
